I had some great feedback about the planner (I’m not sure who it was as it was anonymous). The feedback was as follows: “Unfortunately I am am unable to use the planner as I don’t have Hootsuite pro” First I was surprised and then I felt sad that I obviously hadn’t got the message across clearly enough that the planner is still massively relevant regardless of whether you use it for bulk uploading to HootSuite or not. The main point of the planner is to get you to PLAN your social media posts and whether you’re bulk scheduling or not the only difference between someone with HootsuitePro and someone without is the actual process of bulk uploading. The rest of it all still applies. All the stuff I teach you how to do in the Planner, if you do it, will make managing your social media a breeze! You can do this online or even with pen and paper (whatever floats your boat!). The HootSuite/PostPlanner aspect of it is a BONUS. I use HootSuite to bulk upload BUT I also manually schedule posts one-by-one AND I also just copy and paste on the spot at other times. So PLEASE still do all the things in the planner and I promise you’ll find it easier to manage your media. Then, if you want to go with HootSuite, Post Planner or another bulk uploading programme/software then you can and it will just make the process even easier for you.
